abstract guidelines

  • Registration for the Congress is not required to submit an abstract.
  • Each person is allowed to submit a maximum of two abstracts on the congress’ topics as presenting author: one oral presentation and one poster or, alternatively, two posters. There is no limit to the number of abstracts submitted as co-author.
  • It’s allowed to submit abstracts already presented in other conferences or Scientific Journals
  • Presenting authors of accepted abstracts are entitled to register at the special fee communicated along with the acceptance email.
  • Divide into sections
    Write your abstract in English and structure it into the following sections if applicable:
    Context – Objective – Methods – Patient(s) – Intervention(s) – Main Outcome Measure(s) – Result(s) – Conclusions.
  • Abstract limits
    The abstract cannot be longer than 2500 characters including spaces, and must be plain text. It is not possible to include tables and images, but you may insert data in the text of the abstract. 
  • Works already presented
    It is possible to submit abstracts already presented.
  • Maximum 2 abstracts
    Submit a maximum of two abstracts on the congress’ topics as presenting author. There is no limit to the number of abstracts submitted as co-author
  • Abstracts can only be submitted using the on-line form. Abstracts submitted via email are automatically discarded.
  • Submit you abstract following the online submission process and upload your file in the appropriate field.
  • Once accepted, abstract cannot be modified in any of its parts (authors, content and title)
  • Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted.
  • Presenting authors of accepted abstracts for Oral Presentations and Posters will be notified within  December 15 2026 whether their abstract is accepted.
  • The correctness of the authors’ personal details is entirely up to the responsibility of the author who has submitted the abstract.
  • The submitting author will be also responsible for all the communication (please make sure that a valid email is submitted).
  • The abstract submission indicates acknowledgement and consent for publication in the official program

CALENDAR OF DEADLINES

November 17 2026
SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS

The Scientific Committee will take into consideration all the abstracts received for inclusion as Oral Presentation or Poster.

December 17 - December 17 2026
REVIEW AND ACCEPTANCE

The scientific committee evaluates all the abstracts received. After that, all the abstract submitters will be communicated whether their submitted abstracts are accepted.

January 12 2027
Congress REGISTRATION

Presenter authors whose abstracts have been accepted must complete their congress registration before January 12 2027 .

Present your work at the 17th ESG Congress

The accepted abstracts will be divided into Oral Presentations and Poster Session. Rules for presentation will be available from February 2025 in your account page.

All the authors will be requested to bring their printed poster at the congress venue.
